Privacy
This policy covers the SakinLab Collect extension for Chrome. Last updated 16 October 2026.
What it does
The extension saves a picture or video you choose, on any web page or in Meta Ad Library, to Collect, SakinLab’s reference library. It acts only when you press its Add button or choose Add to Collect from the right-click menu. The Add button appears on every site only after you allow it in Chrome; you can withdraw that permission at any time in Chrome’s extension settings.
What it reads
- The address of the picture or video you save, and the address and title of the page it is on.
- In Meta Ad Library, the visible details of the ad you save: advertiser name and profile picture, ad text, headline, description line, button text, link, start date, status and Library ID.
- Your open tabs, only when you open the tab list in its panel and allow it in Chrome: each tab’s address, title and icon, shown in the panel. Only the tabs you add are saved, as their address, title and the page’s share picture (or a card with its title). Links you paste to open are not kept.
To place its button it looks only at the picture under your pointer, inside your browser. Nothing leaves a page where you do not save. It never reads your history, passwords, form entries or messages.
Where it is stored
The file is downloaded by your browser from the site it comes from and saved, with the details above, in Collect’s storage inside your own browser (IndexedDB on sakinlab.com). A save waits in the extension’s own storage in your browser until Collect has it. To show where a saved item is, the extension reads its board and tags from Collect, in your browser, through a hidden sakinlab.com page; it also remembers the board you chose last. Nothing is sent to SakinLab’s servers or to anyone else; there is no account, analytics, advertising or tracking.
Your control
You can delete items in Collect at any time. Removing the extension deletes its own storage; clearing site data for sakinlab.com deletes the Collect library.
